UAE Armed Forces Celebrate 47th Anniversary of Unification

 



The UAE Armed Forces celebrated their 47th anniversary of unification on May 6, 2023. The occasion was marked by a series of events and activities, including a military parade, a public holiday, and a number of tributes to the country’s armed forces.

The military parade was held in Abu Dhabi and was attended by the UAE’s leadership, including President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces. The parade showcased the UAE Armed Forces’ advanced military capabilities and their commitment to protecting the country’s security and stability.

A public holiday was also declared on May 6, 2023, in honor of the UAE Armed Forces. The holiday gave the UAE’s citizens and residents the opportunity to show their appreciation for the country’s armed forces and to reflect on their important role in protecting the country.

A number of tributes were also paid to the UAE Armed Forces on the occasion of their 47th anniversary of unification.
