CBUAE Introduces New AED1000 Banknote with Advanced Security Features and Modern Design

The Central Bank of the United Arab Emirates (CBUAE) recently issued a new AED1000 banknote with innovative designs and modern security features to enhance security and combat counterfeiting.

The new banknote features a portrait of the UAE’s founder, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, on the front, along with a falcon, the national emblem of the UAE. The back of the note features an image of the Al Hosn Palace in Abu Dhabi, as well as several other cultural and historical landmarks in the country.

The note is also equipped with a number of advanced security features, including a see-through window with a portrait of Sheikh Zayed, a 3D security strip, and a tactile feature for the visually impaired. These features make the note difficult to counterfeit and help to ensure its authenticity.

The issuance of the new banknote is part of the CBUAE’s ongoing efforts to modernize and improve the country’s currency. In recent years, the central bank has introduced a number of new notes with enhanced security features and designs, including the AED100, AED200, AED500, and AED1000 denominations.

The new AED1000 note is expected to be widely circulated in the UAE and will be an important part of the country’s currency system. Its advanced security features and modern design make it a valuable addition to the country’s financial infrastructure and an important tool in the fight against counterfeiting.
