DEWA Supports ‘1 Billion Meals Endowment’ Campaign with Nasdaq Dubai Bell Ringing Ceremony

Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) marked its support for the ‘1 Billion Meals Endowment’ campaign by ringing the Nasdaq Dubai’s bell. The campaign, launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, aims to provide one billion meals to those in need across 30 countries during the holy month of Ramadan.

DEWA’s participation in the ‘1 Billion Meals Endowment’ campaign is a testament to its commitment to social responsibility and giving back to the community. The company has a long history of supporting charitable causes, particularly during the holy month of Ramadan.

The ringing of the

Nasdaq Dubai’s bell by DEWA officials also highlights the importance of public-private partnerships in supporting social initiatives. By bringing together the resources and expertise of both the public and private sectors, the campaign can reach a wider audience and have a greater impact.

The ‘1 Billion Meals Endowment’ campaign is a massive undertaking that requires the collaboration of individuals, organizations, and governments across the world. But with the support of entities like DEWA, the campaign is well on its way towards achieving its goal of providing one billion meals to those in need.

The campaign comes at a time when many people across the world are facing unprecedented challenges, particularly due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The distribution of meals during the holy month of Ramadan provides a much-needed source of support and comfort for those who are struggling.

As the ‘1 Billion Meals Endowment’ campaign gains momentum, it’s a reminder that even small acts of kindness and generosity can make a significant impact in the lives of those in need. DEWA’s participation in the campaign is a shining example of how the private sector can work hand in hand with the public sector to create positive change in society.
