UAE Launches Innovative Program to Monitor Marine Plastic Waste

In January next year, plastic bags will be banned nationwide, demonstrating the country’s commitment to reducing plastic waste. The marine plastic waste monitoring program is yet another example of the UAE’s strong efforts to protect the environment and promote sustainable development.
