India, US, Saudi Arabia, and UAE Discuss Ways to Strengthen Ties and Promote Growth and Stability

 




National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval on Sunday held a meeting with his US counterpart Jake Sullivan, United Arab Emirates (UAE) counterpart Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Saudi Arabia Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and discussed means to strengthen ties between the countries.

The meeting was held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and was part of a series of bilateral and multilateral engagements that Doval is undertaking in the region.

During the meeting, the four leaders discussed a range of issues, including the situation in Afghanistan, the ongoing conflict in Yemen, and the need to promote regional stability and growth.

They also discussed ways to strengthen their bilateral relations and to cooperate on issues of mutual interest.

The White House issued a statement following the meeting, in which it said that the four leaders “reaffirmed their shared commitment to a more secure and prosperous Middle East region interconnected with India and the world.”

The statement also said that the leaders “discussed the importance of working together to address regional challenges, including the ongoing conflict in Yemen and the need to promote peace and stability in Afghanistan.”

The meeting between Doval, Sullivan, Tahnoun, and bin Salman is a significant development in the ongoing efforts to strengthen ties between India, the US, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE.

The four countries have a strong history of cooperation, and the meeting is a sign of their commitment to continue working together to address regional challenges and promote growth and stability.
